{Wine Label} Chateau Bellevue Pineau des Charentes

I really like this label and would like to own the cozy "little" house represented on this label, wouldn't you? Pineau is technically NOT a wine  but a regional French aperitif (aka pre-dinner drink, served chilled), made in the départements of Charente, Charente-Maritime . If you travel to that region, Pineau will be available just about everywhere, but much less in other parts of France, and even less abroad.  It is basically a fortified wine (it can be red or white), made from a blend of lightly fermented grape must and Cognac eau-de-vie. You drink it in small quantity since its alcohol content is higher than regular wine (about 18% depending on how aged it is, but it can go up to 22%). It is very hard to find in the US, and your best best is to shop online.
